※The linked page is currently in Japanese.

Yes. A ticket counter for cash purchases is planned at the venue.

However, we recommend advance purchase for smoother admission, and the number of cash payment counters will be limited.
As a result, there may be congestion and waiting times.

Whenever possible, please consider purchasing your ticket in advance.

Yes. Admission is free for visitors under 22 years old.

Your age will be verified before admission.
Please bring identification showing your age.

Putting on the wristband may require a little care. If you have difficulty, please do not force it and feel free to ask someone nearby for help.

We also ask all visitors to help one another if you see someone having difficulty putting on a wristband.

Depending on congestion, staff may also be able to assist you.

As a general rule, admission tickets cannot be cancelled or refunded, regardless of how they were obtained.

※The same general policy also applies to exhibitor passes and similar passes.

If you received an admission wristband on the first day and it is still intact, you may use it to enter again on the second day.
If it is damaged, please be sure to bring the damaged wristband with you.

If you cut off the wristband after the first day, for example when bathing, you may bring the cut wristband with you.

The two-dimensional code (QR code) used on the first day can also be scanned again on the second day. Please have it ready.

Chairs and other equipment installed in the venue must be used only in their designated locations.
Please do not move venue equipment without permission.

We appreciate your cooperation for smooth operation and safety.

There is no restriction limiting beverages to specific designated locations.

However, please do not drink while walking, in crowded areas, or while closely viewing exhibits. If you bump into someone, a drink may spill onto another person or an exhibit and cause an accident or dispute.

When drinking, please avoid crowded areas, stop in a safe place, and then drink.
We recommend using a Rest Area, Consideration Bench, or an exhibitor booth where the exhibitor permits beverages.

Alcoholic beverages and strongly scented drinks may not be brought in or consumed inside the venue.

As a general rule, please use the designated rest areas for meals.

For safety and hygiene, please do not eat while walking.

Exhibitors may eat and drink within their own booths.
However, please avoid strongly scented food, do not leave food containers unattended, and be considerate of visitors, neighboring exhibitors, and hygiene.

“Rest Spots” and “Consideration Benches” are small resting places available when you need somewhere to sit while moving around the venue or when your destination booth is some distance away.

They are available to everyone. Please keep use reasonably brief and share the space with others.

Please do not move the chairs or benches from their designated locations.

※Depending on event operations or safety requirements, staff may move or remove them.

Rest areas are shared spaces for use by many visitors.

Please avoid occupying them for long periods or reserving places with luggage, and share the space with others.

Please also see the Rest Area Guidelines pictogram.

If you find damage, excessive dirt, a water leak, blockage, or another problem with a restroom, wash area, rest area, or other venue facility, please inform a nearby staff member.

If you cannot find a staff member, please report it to the Operations Center.

Reporting problems promptly helps us respond quickly and reduce inconvenience to other visitors.

If you feel unwell inside the venue, or see someone who appears unwell, please inform a nearby staff member.

If you cannot find a staff member, please contact the Operations Center.

Staff will provide guidance or assistance as necessary.

※In an urgent situation, do not force the person to move. Someone nearby should contact a staff member.
※If an ambulance is required, the organizer will make the necessary arrangements.

For your own safety and the safety of those around you, please do not overexert yourself and notify us promptly.

There is no restriction on where you may drink. If you feel unwell, please do not hesitate to take fluids.

However, in crowded conditions there is a risk of bumping into others or spilling a drink.
If you are feeling unwell, ask those around you for assistance if necessary, make sure you are in a safe position, and then drink.

We also ask all visitors to watch out for anyone who appears unwell and to offer reasonable assistance.

If the person does not recover promptly, please inform a nearby staff member so that emergency assistance can be provided if necessary.

If you find an obviously suspicious object or liquid in the venue, do not touch it. Move away from the area and immediately inform a nearby staff member.

Staff will confirm the situation and take appropriate action for safety.

If a person's behavior, clothing, or actions cause significant concern or discomfort to other visitors or exhibitors, the organizer may speak to the person and, depending on the circumstances, require temporary departure or refuse admission.

Such decisions will be made objectively for the safety and comfort of everyone participating in the event.

Please help us keep chairs and other shared facilities clean and comfortable for everyone.

After use, please do not leave dirt or rubbish behind.
If you notice serious soiling or another problem, please inform a nearby staff member.

Bringing alcoholic beverages into the venue and drinking alcohol inside the venue are prohibited.

Smoking is permitted only in the designated smoking area.

No. Anyone who is clearly intoxicated may be refused admission, regardless of where the alcohol was consumed.

Anyone who becomes severely intoxicated inside the venue may also be asked to leave.

No. Poisonous substances, hazardous materials, and other dangerous items are prohibited by law and venue rules.

Ordinary commercially available mobile batteries/power banks may be used.

However, portable power stations or portable batteries that cannot be carried by hand may not be brought into or used inside the venue.
   Generators are also prohibited.

Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining safety.

※For this rule, there is no specific capacity threshold for a “portable battery.” Products described by the manufacturer or on the product itself as a portable power station/portable battery, or products that are clearly of that type by their form, are treated as portable batteries.

Smartphones, wallets, and other valuables are frequently left behind inside the venue.
The possibility of theft also cannot be ruled out.

Please take responsibility for keeping your valuables secure.
Keep them with you or use a bag that can be securely closed or locked.

Whether you are an exhibitor or a visitor, amateur radio operation inside the venue must be conducted at the radio's minimum power setting or at 1 watt or less.

If power is set by percentage, use 1%. If the radio has High/Low settings, use Low.

Ordinary handheld transceivers whose minimum output is around 2 watts may be used. However, a radio fixed at 5 watts or 10 watts is not regarded as acceptable merely because that is the radio's lowest available output.

Please also take care not to cause interference or inconvenience to exhibitors and visitors around you.

Please see the pictogram information for details.

When taking photos or videos, please take reasonable care to avoid including people who have not agreed to be photographed.

If people are unavoidably included and you publish the photo or video on social media or elsewhere, please use blurring, mosaics, stickers, or similar editing so that those people cannot be identified.

For exhibits and booths, please respect the exhibitor's indicated photography policy.
We also provide photography pictograms, so please check them as well.

Even when no pictogram is displayed, please ask the exhibitor when appropriate before photographing an individual exhibit or exhibitor.

We ask both visitors and exhibitors to use good manners so that photography does not make others uncomfortable.

Press and media representatives are also asked to follow the same considerations.

No. Please take all rubbish and unwanted materials home with you.

Every year, abandoned packaging, cardboard boxes, and unwanted items result in significant disposal costs.
To help us continue holding the event, please take all rubbish with you.

Please never leave unwanted junk items or other materials around the venue.
Such actions create considerable work and expense for the organizer.

Your cooperation helps support the continued operation of Hamfair. Thank you for your understanding.

No. Displays or sales areas may not be set up outside exhibitor spaces approved by the organizer.

Banquets or parties using unused or shared spaces, as well as events or activities not approved by the organizer (so-called “guerrilla events”), are also prohibited.

Please do not occupy aisles, rest areas, or other shared spaces.

This does not prohibit normal conversations, meetings, or eyeball QSOs between visitors. Please simply make sure that your gathering does not obstruct passage or interfere with other people's use of the venue.

Hamfair brings together people of many different ages, levels of experience, backgrounds, and viewpoints.

Please respect one another and take care not to cause unnecessary discomfort or conflict.

We ask everyone to act with courtesy and in the spirit of the Amateur's Code.

No. Demonstrations or protest activities, political activities or election campaigning, and religious solicitation are prohibited inside the venue.

We ask for your understanding in order to preserve the purpose of Hamfair and an environment in which all visitors and exhibitors can participate comfortably and safely.

Unless specifically authorized by the organizer, riding bicycles, kick scooters, or other vehicles inside the venue is prohibited.

Wheelchairs and other devices used for mobility assistance are not included in this restriction.

No. Running inside the venue may cause collisions or falls and is therefore prohibited.

Please take particular care around others in crowded areas.

No. Please do not leave suitcases, cardboard boxes, purchased items, or other belongings in aisles or shared spaces.

They can obstruct passage and may cause falls or interfere with evacuation in an emergency.

Please keep your belongings under your own control and handle them in a place where they will not obstruct other visitors or passageways.

Please do not block emergency exits, evacuation routes, fire extinguishers, or other fire-safety equipment with people or belongings.

These facilities must remain accessible at all times for emergency safety.

Yes. Wheelchair users may enter the venue.
As a general rule, aisles inside the venue are laid out with a width of at least 3.7 meters and are accessible by wheelchair.

A dedicated wheelchair viewing area is also available at the Main Stage.
At the Satellite Stage, arrangements are planned so wheelchair users can view from the side.

One person accompanying a visitor with a disability may enter free of charge and does not need to purchase an admission ticket.

Please present a Japanese disability certificate (“Shogaisha Techo”) at the venue, so please remember to bring it with you.

Yes. A limited number of accessible parking spaces are provided by the venue facility.

Please bring your Japanese disability certificate (“Shogaisha Techo”), as you will be asked to present it when using the parking space.

No. There is no separate advance ticket sold as a “disability discount” ticket.

However, JARL members may purchase an advance ticket at the JARL member price.
By presenting a Japanese disability certificate (“Shogaisha Techo”) at the venue, one accompanying person may enter free of charge.

※If you purchase an advance ticket at the regular general admission price, one companion may still enter free of charge upon presentation of the disability certificate, but the purchased ticket price generally cannot be refunded.

We instruct relevant staff to provide careful assistance in accordance with guidelines issued by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Bureau of Social Welfare and Public Health.
However, especially during crowded periods, assistance may sometimes appear mechanical or procedural.

There is no intention to disregard or make light of anyone's needs. Our response is based on reasonable accommodation, and we appreciate your understanding.

We are also working to provide as much support as possible, including wheelchair viewing areas and information staff.

However, immediately after opening, staff assistance may not always be available as quickly as we would like. If your circumstances allow, we would appreciate your cooperation in considering a less crowded arrival time.

The venue cannot open before the scheduled opening time, so visitors who arrive early will need to wait in line.

Depending on the length and location of the waiting line, you may need to wait outdoors.

Congestion generally begins to ease after the venue opens. Arriving after the initial peak may therefore allow smoother admission.

Please consider adjusting your arrival time according to your physical condition and circumstances.

If you present a Japanese disability certificate (“Shogaisha Techo”), we will provide the same assistance as appropriate.
Please feel free to ask us for support.

In Japan, the general term “Shogaisha Techo” includes three types of official certificates: Physical Disability Certificate, Rehabilitation Certificate, and Mental Disability Certificate.

   We understand this concern.

However, we have confirmed multiple cases in which traditional, trust-based procedures were misused, resulting in losses.

For this reason, we are moving more procedures to digital systems while also reviewing operating methods and rules.

Digitalization is intended not only to prevent misuse, but also to improve efficiency, make procedures clearer, and support smoother event operations.

We understand that this may cause inconvenience in some cases, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

No. Since 2025, there has been no JARL membership counter outside the venue.

If you would like to join JARL, please enter the venue and visit the JARL membership counter inside.

This policy was introduced after multiple past issues involving the handling of admission tickets.

   Thank you for your understanding.
